” Loren worked very well with my 3-year old son and saw him for almost a year. In that time frame he was able to expand his vocabulary and put sentences together. Before receiving speech therapy he only said three words (car, Mama, Nana). Loren was very patient with my son and his improvement was amazing. “
” Loren is a wonderfully collaborative co-worker. She was not only friendly and respectful, but she was responsive to the needs of her clients and co-workers. Loren was adept at problem solving and finding creative solutions, but she also knew her limits and took the initiative to seek out information, answers, solutions to therapeutic questions for which she did not have the answers. Loren was not only proficient with treating students individually, but she was also a great professional with which to co-treat. As a parent myself, I would not hesitate to send my child to Loren for speech and language services. “
” Loren at Strides Speech Therapy provided my child with Social Skills Classes for two years starting when he was 3 years old. After observation and analysis of my child and our family, Loren selected appropriate and evidence based interventions for my child and his existing skill set. Loren was open to including children who were able to model the appropriate behaviors and others who would benefit from this supportive instruction. This flexibility allowed for further reinforcement of the skills taught his these classes. The skills and language my child learned with Loren are still being used in my family today – three years later – and has allowed for continued discussion about what is expected and how to discuss feelings and emotional regulation. Today my boy is thriving at school, has many friends and is highly social. Loren’s support of my child and family has been invaluable. I highly recommend her services. “
